The non-tariff barriers can be various: labelling requirements, food regulations, chemical regulations, quotas, sanctions, etc. The additional complexity is that the requirements are often not uniform from country to country.
In this video we focus on chemicals. There are many different regulations, for example:
- UK REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals)
- EU REACH
- Turkey REACH
- US TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act)
